Walt,

To be honest, I can make a strong argument that as long as I have my
mouse
over the 4D method, the tool tip should never go away.

What's the point of having it, if you have to continually mouse back
over
it....just let it permanently display the tool tip until I mouse off
of it.

The default display time is way too short for any appreciable amount of
comments, so I would like to be able to adjust this.

I didn't see anything on KB, so thought I would ask here.

briefly, I'd like these 3 options for tips in code editor:
1/ as now
2/ no tips at all (I don't need help on "True"; truly)
3/ show tip on demand (if alt key pressed, for example)
