Error: SMTP 421

do you send those batch email in a single SMTP connection,
or do you start a new connection for each email?

i.e. is the login command in or outside the loop?

Are you using SMTP_Auth? ¬=A0I just recently found out that my ISP
limits
non
authorized emails to 10 per hour. ¬=A0Authorized is unlimited.

We have a client that has been successfully sending out batch emails
from
our app without problem for a long time. Verizon is their ISP and as
recently changed there settings. They now require SSL and a limit of
100
emails at a time. We have the use SSL option in our app. We the correct
settings in our app they can successfully send single emails, but even

sending a batch of 50 emails they get the error message below. They
spent

lot of time with Verizons advanced TS and they say it must be an
incompatibility with our app. Has anyone had this experience or ran

this error message? Any feedback is appreciated. Certainly sound to me
like
a bug on their end.
