I ask because I've used 4D to delete
these and other hidden files in the past and it worked just fine. Maybe
you've run into a bug in the version you are on.

Adding on to this, in modern versions of 4D DOCUMENT LIST has an
third parameter that lets you do things like include or exclude
documents. Not sure how that behaves with files starting with a period
Windows...but worth a thought?

These files are created when mounting a windows device on a MAC, they
are harmless. I think Tinkertool used to do this. IF not the correct
name I all look at client tomorrow and update.

Meanwhile do a google and you will find many links on how to delete
these files

How does one delete these files on windows. Delete document can't see
