Does anyone know of a way to display a labelled picture in a listbox ?

To elaborate, imagine a 1-column listbox with a picture array
containing the same picture in each but labelled in the centre bottom,
each row different.

I know I can use a picture array and display it, but to get the label
I need to add another column which means that the picture doesn't span
the whole width.

You could use an old fashioned subform on the form. Be quick and easy
to create a list form with a picture field/variable stacked on top of
a text field/variable and use that as the subform.

You can get almost the exact same functionality with a subform as you
can with a listbox with the current versions of 4D.

LoL :-) So I could. I think I had erased those from my mind years ago.

Many thanks !
